I have enjoyed playing with old manual lenses with my SONY ALPHA 700. But now I am certain that the SONY NEX system is the better solution for that.

SONY NEX 3 with Konica AR Hexanon 40 1.8

On my new blog  www.nex-tips.com I will share with you all my experiments with this mirrorless camera and many manual lenses.

Since I have purchased my SONY NEX 3, I enjoy playing with manual lenses more than I did with my SONY ALPHA 700.

I explain in this article why the SONY NEX is a better solution than a DSLR to reuse manual lenses

You will also find a section with a few review of a few KONICA HEXANON AR lenses mounted on the SONY NEX

And coming soon more and more posts since I am enjoying a lot this SONY NEX system!

Just an overview of what  kind of discussions you will find in www.nex-tips.com :

Since v4 firmware a peaking function is implemented. This thing is amazing. It is the first time it is implemented on a photo camera. It is implemented on expensive video camcorders since a long time. When you adjust your focus ring, the screen display in yellow pixels the part of the image which is focused. It is computer in real time using contrast detection algoritms:
